Getting Here
You can travel to, from and around the area by car, bus or train. Using a car is by far the most convenient way to get around and there are a number of routes allowing you to travel around the Yorkshire Dales with ease, with Leeds just less than an hours drive away. Bus services within the National Park run throughout the year linking the main towns, villages, and popular attractions, with additional services running during the summer months, though bus access to Skyreholme and Appletreewick itself is more sporadic. The train services give fantastic access to the Dales, and Skipton is at the start of one of the most spectacular train journeys in England, via the Settle-Carlisle line. With links to mainline stations there is no limit to your journey. A local taxi service based in Skyreholme is available for the last leg of your journey.
You are free to park outside the cottage in the street.
